1. Organization
Our website is divided into three main parts:
1.1. The sections: At the top, in the shape of wheels, there are the 10 different cycling modalities in which our products are classified: Road, Triathlon, X-Country, Enduro, Downhill-Freeride, Trial, Dirt, BMX, Others and Kids.
1.2. The categories: Once you have made the choice of the cycling modality, on the left, there will come up the different categories in which each cycling modality is divided into (Bicycles, Frames, Drive System, Components, Complements, Accessories, Energy products and Massage, Textile, Women) and their corresponding parts. A product may be seen in more than one section and category as it may be used in more than one cycling modality.
1.3. Interesting links: On the right there is always the shopping basket. Here you also have the “Searcher” to be able to find a product in a quick way as well as other interesting links such as:
1.3.1. Classifieds: here the customer can send or read ads related to the purchasing or selling of cycling products. To be able to send an ad, customer must previously register as user or identify himself/herself as user. No need to register as user if one just wants to read the different ads. The ads are published once jormabike.com has checked their content. An image can be attached to the ad the customer wants to send.
1.3.2. Discounts: Here the customer can find products at discount prices. The process to buy products at discount prices is the same.
1.3.3. Blow Out: Here the customer can find the products with vey low prices.
1.3.4. Links: Here the customer can find all the links to the different websites of the brands of the products we work with as well as other interesting links related to cycling.
1.3.5. Special Promotions
1.3.6. Top Sellers: Here the customer will see the top 10 most sold products in each category (for example, you can see the top sellers in X-Country cranksets)
2. Product selection and consultation
The customer can select the products and can order them by Brand, Price, Weight, … in any order. Customer can click on the image or name of the product to get more information.
If a product is available in different colours, sizes or dimensions, instead of having the option: “Add to shopping basket”, the customer must click the option: “Choose Variations” and choose the colour and size. The product features may vary depending on the colour, size or dimension chosen, namely the weight which will depend on the size or dimension of the product. All the weights we publish on our website are either taken from the manufacturer´s catalog or jormabike.com has checked its weight.
Regarding bicycles, if you click on the image or name of the product, you will get a chart with all the bike components. It is important to point out that the bicycles cannot be bought online and customer has to contact jormabike.com either by mail or phone (except old seasons).
When the customer has the product they want to buy, they inform of the quantity and then they press on “ Add to Basket”, the item will automatically be added to their shopping basket in the right colour and size if this is the case.
Optionally, customers previously registered will be able to give their score or comment of an item. Comments of the products will be published on the website once jormabike.com has checked its content. To be able to read these comments, the customer will have to press the option below the item’s description.
3. Bicycle Comparison
Jormabike.com offers the possibility to compare bicycles with the aim to help the customer choose the bike that best suits them.
The customer has the possibility to compare two bicycles of the same category or different categories as long as it is in the same section. If customers want to compare two bicycles of the same category, they must introduce the desired category , select the two bicycles you want to compare and press the option “Compare products” on the top. If they want to compare two bikes of different brands, they must enter the category “Bicycles”, where can be seen all the bicycles of all the brands. Here they can compare bicycles in the same section following the same steps as indicated before.
Once the customer has chosen the two bicycles, there will come up a comparison chart with all the bike components of the two bicycles. When the customer moves the mouse over the small image in the centre, they will get the name of the item. The customer can also enlarge the image by clicking it.
4. Customer identification
The first time the customer wants to buy, they will have to register as user. To register, the customer must press the option “MY ACCOUNT” at the top and press “New Customer”. The customer must fill in the form and check everything is correct as this information will be used to ship the product.
If the customer already has a login and password, they will always be able to identify themselves as user by entering “MY ACCOUNT” on the top. From now on, the customer will be able to buy online, check orders or classified ads, score items, etc and they will receive by mail our communications regarding their order status. Every time the customer wants to buy online, the customer will have to identify himself/herself as user at the beginning or they will be requested to identify themselves once they have in their shopping basket the selected items.
5. Other years
At the top and on the left, the customer will be able to select 2006, 2005 or previous years so that they have access to the products of the current season or those of previous years. Once the season is selected, the process to buy online is the same. The customer can buy products from different seasons at the same time.
6. Buying online
Once the customer has the shopping basket complete and has pressed on “Buy”, they have to check all their personal data is correct and select the method of payment they want to use. For more information, please read the section “METHODS OF PAYMENT” within the Sales Conditions.
Once the method of payment is chosen, the customer must press the button “ Final Order Review”. Then all the details of the order will come up on the screen. After checking everything is correct, customer must press “Confirm the Order”, which is at the bottom, below the total amount.
7. Order Status
Every order has a particular order status that shows its situation. To be able to know the order status, the customer, once they have already identified themselves as user, must press “Order Status” at the top.
The Order status is described in 6 different ways:
8.1. Received: The order has been received successfully.
8.2. Incidence: The order has some kind of incidence and customer will be informed about it by mail as soon as possible.
8.3. Processing: The order is being prepared.
8.4. Payment pending: Payment is not received yet and order can’t be released.
8.5. Sent: The order has already been sent.
8.6. Cancelled: The order has been cancelled due to different reasons.
Regarding the points 7.1 (Received), 7.2 (Incidence), 7.5 (Sent) and 7.6 (Cancelled), jormabike.com will mail the customer informing about the actual order status. Once the order has been completed, the customer must keep the order number so that the customer can have access to the information about their order whenever they want to.
Apart from the order number, when order is on the “Sent” status, the customer will receive from jormabike.com a mail informing of the forwarder and the tracking number of the shipment..
