HOW TO BUY

1. Organization

Our website is divided into three main parts:


1.1. The sections: At the top, in the shape of wheels, there are the 10 different cycling modalities in which our products are classified: Road, Triathlon, X-Country, Enduro, Downhill-Freeride, Trial, Dirt, BMX, Others and Kids.


1.2. The categories: Once you have made the choice of the cycling modality, on the left, there will come up the different categories in which each cycling modality is divided into (Bicycles, Frames, Drive System, Components, Complements, Accessories, Energy products and Massage, Textile, Women) and their corresponding parts. A product may be seen in more than one section and category as it may be used in more than one cycling modality.


1.3. Interesting links: On the right there is always the shopping basket. Here you also have the “Searcher” to be able to find a product in a quick way as well as other interesting links such as:


   1.3.1. Classifieds: here the customer can send or read ads related to the purchasing or selling of cycling products. To be able to send an ad, customer must previously register as user or identify himself/herself as user. No need to register as user if one just wants to read the different ads. The ads are published once jormabike.com has checked their content. An image can be attached to the ad the customer wants to send.


   1.3.2. Discounts: Here the customer can find products at discount prices. The process to buy products at discount prices is the same.


   1.3.3. Blow Out: Here the customer can find the products with vey low prices.


   1.3.4. Links: Here the customer can find all the links to the different websites of the brands of the products we work with as well as other interesting links related to cycling.


   1.3.5. Special Promotions


   1.3.6. Top Sellers: Here the customer will see the top 10 most sold products in each category (for example, you can see the top sellers in X-Country cranksets)



2. Product selection and consultation

The customer can select the products and can order them by Brand, Price, Weight, … in any order. Customer can click on the image or name of the product to get more information.


If a product is available in different colours, sizes or dimensions, instead of having the option: “Add to shopping basket”, the customer must click the option: “Choose Variations” and choose the colour and size. The product features may vary depending on the colour, size or dimension chosen, namely the weight which will depend on the size or dimension of the product. All the weights we publish on our website are either taken from the manufacturer´s catalog or jormabike.com has checked its weight.


Regarding bicycles, if you click on the image or name of the product, you will get a chart with all the bike components. It is important to point out that the bicycles cannot be bought online and customer has to contact jormabike.com either by mail or phone (except old seasons).


When the customer has the product they want to buy, they inform of the quantity and then they press on “ Add to Basket”, the item will automatically be added to their shopping basket in the right colour and size if this is the case.


Optionally, customers previously registered will be able to give their score or comment of an item. Comments of the products will be published on the website once jormabike.com has checked its content. To be able to read these comments, the customer will have to press the option below the item’s description.



3. Bicycle Comparison

Jormabike.com offers the possibility to compare bicycles with the aim to help the customer choose the bike that best suits them.


The customer has the possibility to compare two bicycles of the same category or different categories as long as it is in the same section. If customers want to compare two bicycles of the same category, they must introduce the desired category , select the two bicycles you want to compare and press the option “Compare products” on the top. If they want to compare two bikes of different brands, they must enter the category “Bicycles”, where can be seen all the bicycles of all the brands. Here they can compare bicycles in the same section following the same steps as indicated before.


Once the customer has chosen the two bicycles, there will come up a comparison chart with all the bike components of the two bicycles. When the customer moves the mouse over the small image in the centre, they will get the name of the item. The customer can also enlarge the image by clicking it.



4. Customer identification

The first time the customer wants to buy, they will have to register as user. To register, the customer must press the option “MY ACCOUNT” at the top and press “New Customer”. The customer must fill in the form and check everything is correct as this information will be used to ship the product.


If the customer already has a login and password, they will always be able to identify themselves as user by entering “MY ACCOUNT” on the top. From now on, the customer will be able to buy online, check orders or classified ads, score items, etc and they will receive by mail our communications regarding their order status. Every time the customer wants to buy online, the customer will have to identify himself/herself as user at the beginning or they will be requested to identify themselves once they have in their shopping basket the selected items.



5. Other years

At the top and on the left, the customer will be able to select 2006, 2005 or previous years so that they have access to the products of the current season or those of previous years. Once the season is selected, the process to buy online is the same. The customer can buy products from different seasons at the same time.



6. Buying online

Once the customer has the shopping basket complete and has pressed on “Buy”, they have to check all their personal data is correct and select the method of payment they want to use. For more information, please read the section “METHODS OF PAYMENT” within the Sales Conditions.


Once the method of payment is chosen, the customer must press the button “ Final Order Review”. Then all the details of the order will come up on the screen. After checking everything is correct, customer must press “Confirm the Order”, which is at the bottom, below the total amount.



7. Order Status

Every order has a particular order status that shows its situation. To be able to know the order status, the customer, once they have already identified themselves as user, must press “Order Status” at the top.


The Order status is described in 6 different ways:


   8.1. Received: The order has been received successfully.


   8.2. Incidence: The order has some kind of incidence and customer will be informed about it by mail as soon as possible.


   8.3. Processing: The order is being prepared.


   8.4. Payment pending: Payment is not received yet and order can’t be released.


   8.5. Sent: The order has already been sent.


   8.6. Cancelled: The order has been cancelled due to different reasons.



Regarding the points 7.1 (Received), 7.2 (Incidence), 7.5 (Sent) and 7.6 (Cancelled), jormabike.com will mail the customer informing about the actual order status. Once the order has been completed, the customer must keep the order number so that the customer can have access to the information about their order whenever they want to.

Apart from the order number, when order is on the “Sent” status, the customer will receive from jormabike.com a mail informing of the forwarder and the tracking number of the shipment..

SHIPPING TERMS

1. Delivery to Spain


  • Spanish Peninsula:

MRW is in charge of shipping. Delivery time is approximately 24-48 hours (working days) once product has left our warehouse.


  • Melilla, Ceuta, Balearic and Canary Islands:

All the shipments are sent by post. Delivery time is approximately 7-10 days once product has left our warehouse.



2. Delivery to France

  • France Metropoli and Mónaco:

All the shipments are sent by post Colissimo. Delivery time is approximately 3-4 days once product has left our warehouse.


  • France DOM and TOM.

All the shipments are sent by post. Delivery time is approximately 7-10 days once product has left our warehouse.



3. Delivery to Portugal


MRW is in charge of shipping. Delivery time is approximately 48 –72 hours (working days) once product has left our warehouse


4. Delivery to EU countries except for Spain, France and Portugal.


All the shipments are done by post. Delivery time is approximately 5-10 days once product has left our warehouse

Product can be paid by:


  • Credit card

If you pay by credit card, payment will be settled immediately. Both VISA and MASTERCARD can be used.

Jormabike.com has the right to cancel any purchase settled by credit card. Should this happen, the total amount paid will be refunded on your account. Jormabike.com has the right to ask any additional information they may consider to ensure there is no fraud.


  • Bank transfer

All the shipping costs stated below are valid for all products except for bicycles.



1. Shipping to Spanish peninsula and Balearic Islands



  • Payment by credit card:

Shipping costs are estimated based on the total amount of your purchase, they equal 6% of the sub-total of your purchase with a minimum fee of 9.5 Euro. This includes all costs, shipping and customs included.

Note: Shipping cost to the Balearic Islands equals 9% of the sub-total of your purchase with a minimum fee of 9.5 Euro.

  • Payment Cash on delivery:

Shipping costs are estimated based on the total amount of your purchase, they equal 7% of the sub-total of your purchase with a minimum fee of 9.5 Euro. This includes all costs, shipping and customs included.

Note: Shipping cost to the Balearic Islands equals 10% of the sub-total of your purchase with a minimum fee of 9.5 Euro.



  • Payment by bank transfer

Shipping costs are estimated based on the total amount of your purchase, they equal 6% of the sub-total of your purchase with a minimum fee of 9.5 Euro. This includes all costs, shipping and customs included.

  • Payment Cash on Delivery:

Shipping costs are estimated based on the total amount of your purchase, they equal 10% of the sub-total of your purchase with a minimum fee of 9.5 Euro. This includes all costs except for the special taxes at your end and the Post fee (0.7% of amount to refund + 1.43 Euros).



  • Payment by bank transfer:

Shipping costs are estimated based on the total amount of your purchase, they equal 8% of the sub-total of your purchase with a minimum fee of 9.5 Euro. This includes all costs except for the special taxes at your end



3. Shipping to France Metrópoli and Mónaco:



  • Payment by credit card:

Shipping costs are estimated based on the total amount of your purchase, they equal 6% of the sub-total of your purchase with a minimum fee of 9.5 Euro. This includes all costs, shipping and customs included.

Payment Cash on delivery:

This includes all costs, shipping and customs included. Payment on cash delivery is not accepted on orders above 800 euros, shipping costs included. Limit fixed by La Poste.



4. Shipping to France DOM and TOM



  • Payment by credit card or bank transfer:

Shipping costs are estimated based on the total amount of your purchase and location. Once you have made your choice of products to buy, and before settling payment, shipping costs will come up and be added to the amount . This shipping cost includes all costs except for the special taxes at your end.



5. Shipping to Portugal



  • Payment by credit card:

Shipping costs are estimated based on the total amount of your purchase, they equal 10% of the sub-total of your purchase with a minimum fee of 16 Euro. This includes all costs, shipping and customs included.



  • Payment Cash on Delivery:

Shipping costs are estimated based on the total amount of your purchase, they equal 12% of the sub-total of your purchase with a minimum fee of 16 Euro. This includes all costs, shipping and customs included.



  • Payment by bank transfer:

Shipping costs are estimated based on the total amount of your purchase, they equal 8% of the sub-total of your purchase with a minimum fee of 16 Euro. This includes all costs, shipping and customs included



6. Shipping to the EU except for Spain, Portugal and France:



  • Payment by credit card:

Shipping costs equal 12% of the sub-total of your purchase with a minimum fee of 16 Euro. This includes all costs, shipping and customs included.


  • Payment by bank transfer:

Shipping costs equal 10% of the sub-total of your purchase with a minimum fee of 16 Euro. This includes all costs, shipping and customs included.





7. Shipping to other countries



  • Payment by credit card or bank transfer

Shipping costs are estimated based on the total amount of your purchase and location. Once you have made your choice of products to buy, and before settling payment, shipping costs will come up and be added to the amount . This shipping cost includes all costs except for the taxes at your end.

RETURNS AND CONDITIONS

The customer will be able to return any product or order if:


The purchase does not meet the customer’s expectations:

Jormabike.com will refund the value of the product or products returned but under no circumstances the shipping cost and other costs that may derive from returning the product will be refunded. Product must be returned within 6 days of receipt (see conditions).


Customer has received the wrong product:

Customer will contact jormabike.com and inform of their name and order number. Once we receive the product wrongly shipped, we will send the product originally ordered. If we can’t replace the product, we will solve the situation as soon as possible. Jormabike.com will pay for postage costs and other costs derived from refunding money if this was the case. (see conditions)


Note: Before returning the product, customer must follow the indications Jormabike.com will provide them with. Acting otherwise may cancel any refunding .


Size exchange:

Customer will contact jormabike.com and inform of their name and order number. Product must be returned within seven days (7) of receipt. Once we receive the product, we will replace it and we will send it back to you by post. Customer will pay for postage costs when sending product and Jormabike.com will pay for postage costs when sending the product back to the customer.


If product can’t be replaced , the customer will be able to get another item. Jormabike.com will recalculate the new amount and will refund or get the money difference, as the situation requires.


If item is to be refunded totally, Jormabike.com will refund the price of the item but shipping costs and other expenses that may derive of processing the return will be at the customer’s cost. (see conditions)



The shipment gets lost or gets to customer in bad condition:

The situation hardly ever arises but should customer receive a packet which is open or in very bad condition, packet can be rejected; in this situation customer will not sign the delivery note and will contact Jormabike.com to inform about it.


Once we get and evaluate the shipment in bad condition, Jormabike.com will re-ship the order to customer at our cost. In this situation, customer can also cancel the order. (see conditions).



CONDITIONS


Jormabike.com will refund and exchange product only if the following conditions are met:

Our office hours are: 9:00-13:30 and 15:30- 20:00 from Monday to Friday.


Product must be in their original packaging and must not be fitted or used.


Money refund will be settled using the method of payment the customer used.


With cash refunds, customer will pay 1.75 Euro for handling charges. With wire transfer refunds, customer will pay 3 Euro for handling charges. With credit card refunds, there are no charges but this method can only be used if customer purchased online and paid by credit card online.

WARRANTY

All products are subject to the manufacturer´s warranty terms. The acceptance or rejection of the warranty of any product is always under the decision of the manufacturer or official distributor.


Jormabike.com will process the warranties of the products bought online. To process a warranty, customer must follow these instructions:

Our office hours are: 9:00-13:30 and 15:30- 20:00 from Monday to Friday.


Very Important: Any product sent without our consent will not be accepted . Customer must always contact jormabike.com before any action is carried out.


Customer will always pay for postage costs when sending product to Jormabike.com. Other shipping costs are subject to two situations:


If the product is under warranty:


Jormabike.com covers the shipping cost of the product to the manufacturer and the shipping cost of the product back to the customer.


If the product is NOT under warranty:


Jormabike.com will charge customer with all shipping costs derived from sending product to manufacturer and back to customer. Jormabike.com minimum fee, 8.5 Euro, will be added to the shipping cost of sending product to manufacturer.


Should the product be repaired, jormabike.com will inform the customer of its costs before any action is carried out.


Note: Jormabike.com will send product under warranty or repair by post.

CLAIMS AND DISPUTES

If a dispute arises between the customer and Jormabike.com, our goal is to provide a solution. Should a dispute persist, only the Court in the Principality of Andorra will be competent to resolve it.
